Cayuga Health System unites two longstanding, independent hospitals, Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca and Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls. Our two hospitals have served our respective communities well for many years. By joining together in a cohesive health-care network, we will be in an even stronger position to provide seamless, comprehensive, community-centered care for the many residents we serve across the Finger Lakes and central New York.
At Cayuga Medical Center, we believe that hospitals are shaped by the people they serve. A hundred years ago, a group of forward-thinking community leaders opened a small city hospital with fifteen beds. Today, Cayuga Medical Center houses 212 beds, employs over 1,500 health-care professionals, and has a medical staff of more than 200 affiliated physicians.
Schuyler Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital, with a 120-bed skilled nursing facility attached. Schuyler Hospital’s main campus – on over-50 acre facilities overlooking breathtaking Seneca Lake – is located in Montour Falls, New York.
